This policy explains how Newcastle Concreters handles personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What is collected
When you send an enquiry: your name, phone number, email address if given, suburb, the type of job and any notes you add, along with the page the form was sent from. When you phone: your number, and a voicemail recording and transcription if you leave a message. Calls may be recorded, and you are told at the start of the call where that applies. The site also records standard analytics data such as pages viewed and approximate location.
Why, and who receives it
Newcastle Concreters is a referral service. Enquiries are passed to an independent local concreter, who measures the job, quotes it in writing and carries out the work. Your enquiry details are passed to that concreter so they can contact you, measure the job and quote. Details are also held by the operator of this site to manage and follow up enquiries. They are not sold, and they are not used for unrelated marketing.
Service providers
Enquiries are processed and stored using third party services, including website hosting and a backup register with Cloudflare, email delivery with Resend, spreadsheets with Google, telephony with Twilio and analytics with Google. Some of these providers store data outside Australia.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or make a complaint, by emailing enquiries@newcastleconcreters.com.au. If you are not satisfied with the response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
